Queen’s is reporting 11 active cases of COVID-19 off-campus as of Thursday evening, including one new case this week.
The University reported 10 new cases during the week of Feb. 8-14. There has been a total of 100 cases reported since Aug. 31, including 90 off-campus and 10 in residence.
The University is requesting students, staff, and faculty who leave the Kingston, Frontenac, and Lennox and Addington (KFL&A), Hastings and Prince Edward Counties, and Leeds, Grenville, and Lanark region self-isolate for 14 days upon their return.

Students looking to get tested for COVID-19 can book an appointment at Queen’s Satellite COVID-19 Assessment Centre in Mitchell Hall through Student Wellness Services (SWS).
SWS is now offering voluntary asymptomatic testing for students; appointments can be booked Monday to Friday.
KFL&A Public Health is reporting 16 active cases in the region. There have been 719 cases in the region since the pandemic’s outbreak and one death. There have been three confirmed variant of concern cases.
