Bagg signs with Roughriders
The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced they have signed Queen’s receiver Rob Bagg to a professional contract for the 2008 season.
Bagg earned a position on the team’s opening-day roster last season, but elected to play out his fifth and final year of eligibility at Queen’s.
Roughriders general manager Eric Tillman said he’s pleased to have Bagg back in the fold.
“Rob has certainly taken an unconventional route to where we are now, but, trust me; we are thrilled to have him back in green and white,” he said in a press release.
Bagg led the Gaels to a 6-2 record with 804 yards receiving and six touchdowns this season.
