Intrigued and fascinated by a vast collection of archival photos, the Journal has decided to show them the light and give them the publicity they rightly deserve by launching a caption contest. Postscript wants to know what you think of each picture. So get your creative groove on and make our strange pictures even crazier!

We’ll run a selection of the best captions—as well as an explanation of what the picture really was—in an issue.

The Rules:

1. Be sure to include your name, year, and faculty.

2. Your wit, creativity, and good taste are encouraged.

3. Keep the caption short and concise.

Captions can be sent to [email protected], with “Caption” in the subject line, by Friday, Sept. 24, 2005.

All final editorial decisions are made by the Editor(s) in Chief and/or the Managing Editor. Authors should not be ed, targeted, or harassed under any circumstances. If you have any grievances with this article, please direct your comments to [email protected].
