This is my first Eid alone, and I’m scared

Caffeine withdrawal, some brain fog, and the feeling of just wanting to take three naps a day. It’s the month of Ramadan, and beyond the discomfort there’s so much beauty.

What your St. Patty’s Day outfit says about you

It’s that time of year again, and like every big Queen’s event that enables a street party on Aberdeen, certain colour-coordinated attire is more creative than others.
Whether you love school or hate it, everyone can relate to pre-exam anxiety.
Hair: its colour, length, and style has strings attached when understanding our everyday beauty practices and ideas of attraction.
An advantage of university student life is the ability to meet an array of people with varying interests, dislikes, and priorities. There a lot of ‘character archetypes’ at Queen’s, and with them come positives and negatives.
In the world of online dating, it’s a delight to stumble upon profiles that ignite the spark of laughter, the warmth of joy, and leave the heart longing for more.

With school starting up fast, many of us experience high stress and feel a pressure to succeed.

A cure for the hungover

September 9, 2022
The first week of school, Alehouse & Canteen announcing Tuesday country theme nights, and moving back in with your best friends sounds like a recipe for, well, alcohol. With a recipe always comes a remedy, so I present to you: hangover cures.
It’s September already, and while I’d rather be diving off the pier, we’re instead diving headfirst into Orientation Week.
While venturing around Shoppers Drug Mart the other night, I found myself wandering the store’s magazine section with the 40-year-old moms. Given the pressure to not grab the trashy gossip magazine for fear of judgment, I proudly grabbed a Better Home & Gardens fall recipe magazine, and I’m so happy I did.
After a couple of years at Queen’s, you may look back with regret on your first year, wishing you had known this or that.
