Women’s wrestling reaches new heights, women’s squash dominates, men’s squash looks solid, and swimming and fencing tune up for respective OUA Championships.
Queen’s varsity clubs have continued to impress. Squash beat up on opponents in Montreal, women’s water polo had a strong showing in Ottawa, and artistic swimming looked solid at the McGill Invitational.
October was packed full of Varsity Club action, with 15 different teams earning a bevy of team and individual accolades. Cycling, Field Hockey, Women’s Lacrosse, and the Ultimate teams had especially big months.
Over the weekend, the Queen’s cycling team drove seven hours to Philadelphia where they participated in the first weekend of the Eastern Collegiate Cycling Conference (ECCC) from March 16 to 17.
