Varsity Clubs round-up: November edition

Queen’s varsity clubs have continued to impress. Squash beat up on opponents in Montreal, women’s water polo had a strong showing in Ottawa, and artistic swimming looked solid at the McGill Invitational.
October was packed full of Varsity Club action, with 15 different teams earning a bevy of team and individual accolades. Cycling, Field Hockey, Women’s Lacrosse, and the Ultimate teams had especially big months.
Queen’s varsity clubs have been busy throughout September. Here are their biggest achievements so far.
Over the weekend, the Queen’s cycling team drove seven hours to Philadelphia where they participated in the first weekend of the Eastern Collegiate Cycling Conference (ECCC) from March 16 to 17. 
Few teams at Queen’s understand dominance better than the women’s squash team.
The Queen’s swimming team didn’t quite blow their competition out of the water this weekend—but they came close.
The women’s wrestling team made it onto the podium twice at the OUA Championships in Guelph this past weekend. 
Queen’s golf capped their season off on a high note earlier this week, finding success at the OUA Championships on Monday and Tuesday.
The women’s lacrosse team is one of the most dominant teams at Queen’s this fall.
It was a busy weekend for the Queen’s golf team: they played two tournaments in two days this past Saturday and Sunday. 
With a new season on the horizon, the Queen’s golf team has a new face guiding them through the OUA.
