KCFF Slaight Red Carpet: Behind the scenes

The Journal hit the KCFF Red Carpet to catch up with the talented artists from the Slaight program and their paired producers.
On March 10, 2025, PSAC 901 Unit 1—representing 2,000 Teaching Assistants, Research Assistants, and Teaching Fellows—gathered outside Stauffer Library at the corner of Union St. and University Ave. demanding better wages and working conditions.
The Journal had the chance to chat with iconic Blue Rodeo Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor, along with Dale Heslip, the director of their new film, Blue Rodeo: Lost Together.
The Journal made a visit to CoGro to gain some student insight on the provincial election, taking place this Thurs. Feb. 27. We learned about what priorities students are looking for in an elected candidate.
Created to celebrate the oldest sport rivalry in Canada between the Queen’s Gaels and the RMC Paladins, the 37th Carr-Harris Cup saw a 5-2 Gaels win on Feb. 6. The Journal got a close-up look, and the chance to chat with the players and Carr-Harris relative Joan Skeen.
