The men’s rugby team dismantled a weak Trent Excalibur side 106-0 on their home field Oct. 4, giving the Gaels the record for the largest margin of victory in OUA history. Last season, the Gaels had destructive victories over the Excalibur as well, with a 78-0 regular season win, and a 99-0 win in the OUA quarter-finals.

Flanker Pat Richardson said that Trent wasn’t up to the caliber of the Gaels, and Queen’s used the game as a way to prepare for Friday’s meeting with the Brock Badgers.
