School of Religion reunites with University
After a decision made at the Sept. 23 Board of Trustees meeting, the University and Queen’s School of Religion will together.
Renamed from Queen’s Theological College in 2009, the School of Religion has been split from the University since 1912. The split allowed Queen’s to receive public funding.
The School of Religion currently offers courses to Queen’s undergraduates but also provides independent theological programs.
The merger comes into effect in May 2012.
As a result of the integration, all programs offered by the school will become part of the Arts and Sciences faculty.
