Three Queen’s ranked nationally

The reputation of Queen’s sport is ever-growing as three Gaels teams are currently ranked as CIS top-10 squads.

The football team is ranked sixth in Canada after starting the season in eighth. The women’s rugby team is currently 10th in the CIS, receiving a national ranking for the first time in team history. Finally, men’s soccer is ranked eighth in Canada, their first time in the CIS rankings since a two-week stint in 10th in 2007.

Men’s hockey adds former Belleville Bull to the blueline

Head coach Brett Gibson announced the addition of defenseman Robert Stellick on Tuesday. Stellick, the nephew of former Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Gord Stellick, played 62 games over the past two seasons with the Bulls, recording three assists and a plus-minus of seven.
