The results of the ComSoc election were announced on Feb. 3 after voting closed on Feb. 2. The Journal reached out to ComSoc’s Chief Electoral Officer Jacob Kranjac for a breakdown of results but didn’t receive a response in time for publication.

Running on a platform centred on three pillars: continuity, credibility, and community, Team PAC aims to build on the existing work of the executive teams before them while fostering a more able and transparent student government.

Nazari shared his joy upon hearing the news of the victory to The Journal.

“I also recognize the responsibilities that come with it. There’s a lot of work to be done, and our team is committed to making ComSoc more transparent, ive, and engaging for everyone,” Nazari said in a statement to The Journal.

Looking ahead to the year, Nazari is eager to strengthen ComSoc’s engagement with incoming first years.

“I’m really looking forward to welcoming the first years in September and making sure ComSoc is integrated into orientation. By getting involved early, we can help new students see us as a resource and community builder from day one,” Nazari said.

The Journal reached out to the other two winning executives Mehta-Spooner and McCourt for comment but didn’t receive a response in time for publication.
