I am a religious pinner and come across pin-worthy photos on a daily basis. I’m always looking for ways to get creative in the kitchen; cooking and baking create great birthday gifts and function as a perfect study break. Here are a few gems I’ve come across in my pinning escapades that are too easy to up. Enjoy!
These make great bite-size treats for that afternoon energy slump or late night sweet tooth; also perfect for Christmas and Valentine’s day.
Get your home fries and omelette fix in one!
Make an avocado a meal in itself by topping it with cheese, salsa and sour cream; microwave and you’ll get something that tastes very similar to the classic 7-layer dip.
I tried this out immediately upon discovery-the perfect hangover lunch (or dinner).
Light on calories and heavy on flavour; tastes like authentic apple pie.
A new way to use wonton wrappers that serves as an easy app and satisfies those melted cheese cravings.
I love this idea! Do this before a birthday dinner-when you’re serving out the cake, bring them out to compliment your dessert. Less mess and more impressive!
Whether you’re gluten-free or suffering from a weekend of carb overload, a mushroom-cap pizza gives you the flavour and simplicity of pizza with an added dose of vegetables.
Slice, add cheese, drizzle with olive oil. A capresse salad in 30 seconds or less that makes a meal look instantly gourmet.
I couldn’t help but add this to the list…guaranteed to make someone laugh. Who even thought to come up with this?
